With less than a month until official visitors flock the University of Pittsburgh, the Panthers add another member to that group in a three-star athlete from Florida.

Ja’Kyrian Turner — a 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect from Wildwood, Fla. — announced on X that he will make the trip to visit Pitt from June 6-8.

On3 ranks Turner as the 83rd-best athlete in the class of 2025 and holds an 86 rating.

The South Sumter High School product showed his versatility in the fall on both sides of the ball. Offensively, Turner posted 50 carries for 533 yards and eight touchdowns, while catching 15 passes for 203 yards and three scores.

On the flip side, he registered 15 solo tackles, with 22 assists, three interceptions — two for touchdowns — and five pass breakups in the secondary.

As a defensive back, Turner has the knack to track down the ball when it’s in the air and shows a high-intense level at the position. At wide out, Turner has a quick and elusive tool kit to get open and breakaway from the defense.

Pitt has been involved in Turner’s recruitment since the beginning of August as one of the first Power Four schools to offer him, along with West Virginia. The Panthers and Mountaineers are joined by Nebraska, Wake Forest, USF and others on his offer sheet.

Turner will join a multitude of recruits that will visit from June 6-8, which includes Maryland three-star linebacker Justin Thompson, Georgia three-star offensive lineman Andrew Stargel and more.
